Device Repair/Replacement

The Los Nietos School District is proud to provide a device for every student in a 1:1 learning environment. As stated in the Responsible Use Policy, students must keep their devices in good working condition and promptly notify a teacher or District official of any defect, damage, or malfunction. Chromebook devices are loaned to students and remain the property of LNSD as students' matriculate through school. Just like textbooks, and other school property issued to students, there is a responsibility to care for and return the property in good/working condition. Students must exercise care when handling, transporting devices. Care of any devices distributed by the District is the responsibility of the student and parent/guardian to which it is assigned. This includes costs associated with damage and loss or theft, as detailed below. A payment plan can be created upon request.
