At the December 13, 2017 Los Nietos School Board meeting, the Los Nietos Board of Trustees voted unanimously to elect Emilio Sosa as the new school board president for the 2018 school year. Additionally, Evelyn Avdalyan was elected to be the new Vice-President, and Cathy Martinez was elected to be the new Clerk.
Superintendent Vasquez thanked outgoing Board President, Nick Aquino, for his leadership and for his willingness to have a "Whatever it Takes" attitude when it comes to doing what is best for the students in the Los Nietos School District.
