At the regularly scheduled Los Nietos Board of Trustees meeting on March 8, 2016, Superintendent Vasquez administered the oath of office to newly appointed trustee, Catherine Martinez. Trustee Martinez was given the oath of office by Superintendent Vasquez after being selected from a pool of six applicants that had expressed interest in filling the vacant school board of trustee position that became available when long-time Los Nietos Trustee, Art Escobedo, resigned on February 15, 2016. Trustee Martinez will be serving the remainder of former Los Nietos Trustee Escobedo’s term, which expires November of 2017.
