On February 14, 2016 the Los Nietos School District’s “Student’s Run Los Angeles” (SRLA) runners and their adult trainers boarded a bus at 5:00 a.m. to take part in the Los Angeles Marathon. The 2016 Los Angeles Marathon was the 11th year that the Los Nietos Middle School has sent a SRLA team to participate in the 26.2 marathon. The Los Nietos Middle School had 12 students and 5 staff complete the marathon, as well as many Los Nietos staff along the marathon route encouraging the participants to do their very best and push through their fatigue.
The Los Nietos School District would like to congratulate all of the SRLA students and thank their coaches for sharing their commitment and time to helping the students achieve a once in a lifetime goal!
