On March 14, 2013, the Los Nietos School Board of Trustees recognized over 25 English Language Learners from Rancho Santa Gertudes School who met the Los Nietos School District’s Reclassification Criteria. This year the Los Nietos School District had 105 English Learners meet Reclassification Criteria. Principal Octavio Perez recognized the students in attendance and presented them with a certificate. The Los Nietos School Board was very pleased that so many English Language Learners were able to meet the District’s Reclassification Criteria at Rancho this year.
Additionally, awards were given to the students from Aeolian, Ada S. Nelson, and Rancho Santa Gertrudes Schools that achieved a perfect score of 600 on the 2012 CST Exam.
Following both presentations, parents were invited to take pictures with their children and share in some celebratory cake in honor of their achievements.
