Dr. Mary McNeil Awarded ACSA State Central Office Administrator of the Year Award on 11/9/12

On November 9, 2012, Los Nietos School District Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Services, Dr. Mary McNeil, was recognized as the 2012 Association of California School Administrator’s (ACSA) Central Office Administrator of the Year at the ACSA Leadership Summit awards ceremony in San Diego. Superintendent Vasquez along with family and friends joined in celebrating her tremendous accomplishment and well-deserved recognition.

During her three-year tenure in the Los Nietos School District, Dr. McNeil has distinguished herself as a positive and collaborative advocate for students and staff. Her knowledge of curriculum and instruction, categorical program monitoring, and strong sense of teamwork has been a major asset to the Los Nietos School District. Dr. McNeil’s award was not only a source of pride for herself and her family, but was a source of pride for the Los Nietos School District community. Superintendent Vasquez noted that Dr. McNeil’s recognition is the first State level ACSA Administrator of the Year recognition for a Los Nietos School District administrator.
