Los Nietos School Board Recognizes Student and Community Achievement on 11/10/11

At the November 10, 2011 Los Nietos School Board Meeting, the Los Nietos School Board was pleased to have three presentations that recognized student and community achievement and involvement.

The first presentation was to recognize the Los Nietos Middle School Volleyball team that placed second in the Pioneer High School Volleyball Tournament held on October 29, 2011. Special thanks were given to Rancho Teacher, Erika Rose, who volunteered to coach the team all day during the tournament.

The second presentation recognized students from Aeolian, Nelson, Rancho, and Los Nietos Middle School that received perfect scores of 600 on the 2011 California Standards Tests. The Board congratulated the students and their parents for their outstanding achievements, and wished them good luck on the 2012 California Standards Tests.

The last presentation was to recognize the community volunteers who participated on the Bond Oversight Committee. Mr. Jose Martinez and Mrs. Irene Campa were in attendance to receive their “Award of Appreciation” from a grateful school board for their involvement on the Bond Oversight Committee for the past two years.

After the three presentations, the audience was invited to share some refreshments with the school board.
