Your Voice Matters: Help Us Choose Our Next Math Program!
Our school district is taking an important step forward in strengthening math instruction for all students, TK through 8th grade. This work is part of a broader commitment to mathematics excellence that includes ongoing professional learning for our teachers in partnership with the UC Irvine Math Project, helping our instructional staff deepen their practice and align to California's updated Mathematics Framework. Building on that foundation, our Math Adoption Committee, including teachers from each of our four school sites and special education staff, has spent this school year piloting two high-quality programs at each grade span and is now ready to hear from you. The programs under consideration are enVision Mathematics by Savvas Learning Co. and Eureka Math² by Great Minds for TK–5, and Eureka Math² by Great Minds and Classroom Mathematics by Curriculum Associates for grades 6–8.
Beginning May 4 and running through May 15, 2026, all materials will be available for public review in the District Boardroom. We warmly invite parents, community members, and staff to come in, browse the programs, and share your feedback using our simple QR code form. Your input goes directly to the adoption committee and will inform our recommendation to the Board of Trustees at the June 11 board meeting. This is your opportunity to be part of a decision that will shape math learning in our district for years to come — we hope to see you there!
