Dignitaries Honor the Los Nietos School District at their Final 150th Anniversary Event on 8-29-11

On August 29, 2011, the Los Nietos School District concluded the yearlong celebration of their Sesquicentennial Celebration. To Honor the District's longevity and academic achievements, several dignitaries attended and spoke to a packed Ballroom of Los Nietos Employees and invited guests at the Radisson Hotel in Whittier California.

Congresswoman Linda Sanchez, California State Superintendent Tom Torlakson, and Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe were featured speakers as well as Jake Brown, CEO of TransLux, and Tom Martinez, from IBEW/NECA who spoke on sustainable energy.
