Aeolian School Hosts the First Los Nietos School District Sesquicentennial Event on 11/6/10

As part of the  Los Nietos School District's 150th anniversary celebration this year, Aeolian School hosted the first of four scheduled events on November 6, 2010. The Parent Teacher Club of Aeolian School invited the other 3 schools to attend their annual school Fall Carnival and demonstrated to them their outstanding school spirit. The event included game booths, delicious food, and a wonderful spirit of community. Teachers, parents, and district staff volunteered to help make Aeolian's school carnival a tremendous success. Nelson School will be hosting the next District 150th school event on January 22, 2011.

Principal's Octavio Perez, and Marla Duncan attended the event to learn secrets from the Aeolian staff in order to make their school events at Rancho Santa Gertrudes and Nelson a huge success.

To plan such a spectacular event required many long hours of planning, working late, and coordination with the other schools and the community sponsors. Aeolian's Parent Teacher Club can not be thanked enough for all of their hard work. Pictured with Principal Amber Lee-Ruiz is Mrs. Cindy Waugh Aeolian PTC President.
