Rancho Santa Gertrudes School students attended the City of Santa Fe Springs Farmers Market on February 26, 2015. Rancho teachers along with parent volunteers took the students to the Farmers Market that is held every Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Santa Fe Springs Town Center Plaza. Students, as part of the Healthy Los Nietos initiative, have been learning about the importance of eating fresh fruit and vegetables as part of effective meal planning.
