On March 15, 2015 the Los Nietos School District’s “Student’s Run Los Angeles” (SRLA) runners and their adult trainers boarded a bus at 4:30 a.m. to take part in the Los Angeles Marathon. The Los Angeles Marathon recorded its highest temperatures in the 10-year history of Los Nietos' SRLA participation with temperatures reaching close to 90 degrees on the course. 19 students, 5 coaches and 2 guests from the Los Nietos School District finished the course. Seventh grader Anthony Zaragoza was the fastest Los Nietos finisher with a time of 4 hours and 48 minutes.
