Los Nietos School Board Recognizes Special Education Assistants who Received the School-Based Behavior Interventionist Certificate on September 27, 2017

On September 28, 2017, the Los Nietos School Board recognized the special education assistants that completed the coursework to receive the School-Based Interventionist Certificate. In order to receive the behavior interventionist certificate assistants had to complete 7 modules over 5-days that encompassed various aspects of recognizing and diffusing student behaviors. Twenty-nine of the districts special education assistants attended the modules and passed the test that allowed them to receive the certificate.

In attendance to receive their certificate were special education assistants Berenice Vite, Rosa Alvarez, Gloria Mercado, and Lianey Lopez. The Los Nietos School Board and Superintendent Vasquez would like to congratulate all 29 assistants for receiving their School-Based Behavior Interventionist Certificate and thank them for their efforts and dedication to the students of the Los Nietos School District.
