At the regularly scheduled Los Nietos Board of Trustees meeting on October 11, 2016, Superintendent Vasquez administered the oath of office to newly appointed trustee, Evelyn Avdalyan. Trustee Avadalyan was given the oath of office by Superintendent Vasquez after being selected from a pool of three applicants that had expressed interest in filling the vacant school board of trustee position that became available when long-time Los Nietos Trustee, Marisa Hernandez, resigned on September 16, 2016. Trustee Avadalyn will be serving the remainder of former Los Nietos Trustee Hernandez’s term, which expires November of 2017.
