On August 25, 2016 the Ada S. Nelson School Staff welcomed parents to their annual “Back to School Night”. Principal Marla Duncan addressed the parents in attendance, and thanked them for making the event one of the largest attended events in recent memory. After introducing her stellar staff, Mrs. Duncan released her teachers back to their rooms where they prepared to meet and greet parents and explain the content standards they would be teaching this year.
Superintendent Vasquez, Assistant Superintendent McMasters, Director Cardenas, Los Nietos Trustee Cathy Martinez, and Los Nietos Middle School Principal Brann Zelaya visited classrooms and were impressed with the dedication of the Nelson staff to create such visually appealing learning environments for students. Principal Duncan and her staff are to be commended for hosting an outstanding “Back to School Night” for Nelson parents!
